Professionally, Tendulkar boasts the highest run tally in international cricket. Dhoni, a former captain, steered India to victory in three ICC tournaments.

Rohit Sharma, acclaimed for three double centuries in ODIs, is set to lead the Indian team in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup, scheduled for the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies in June.

In the upcoming IPL season, MS Dhoni is set to captain the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), which is speculated to be his final stint in the T20 league. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will play for the Mumbai Indians, and Sachin Tendulkar will serve as the team’s mentor.

The Mumbai Indians, led by Hardik Pandya, will kick off their campaign against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in IPL 2024.

“I don’t think this will be his last season” –Dhoni’s childhood friend Paramjit Singh

Paramjit Singh, MS Dhoni’s childhood friend and owner of Prime Sports in Ranchi, expressed his belief that the legendary wicketkeeper-batter won’t retire after the upcoming IPL season and expects him to play one more season in the cash-rich league.

“I do not think this will be his (Dhoni’s) last season. He is still fit. I think he will play one or two more seasons. He will definitely play one more season. The reason is he is fit.”

Paramjit Singh, who played a key role in securing MS Dhoni’s early sponsorship, acknowledged Dhoni’s tribute by practicing with a bat featuring a ‘Prime Sports’ sticker.

Chennai Super Kings, led by Dhoni, will commence their IPL 2024 journey against Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22 at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
