Sushant Singh Rajput, the portrayer of MS Dhoni in his biopic, shocked the entire world on Sunday after when he died by suicide. The actor was only 34-year-old when he hanged himself in his room in Bandra, Mumbai. The news has left everyone in the country in a state of shock.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Sushant Singh Rajput hanged himself in his house on Sunday afternoon. A domestic help found himself hanging and raised the alarm. The police brought his body to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital from his residence. Many celebrities attended his funeral yesterday at the cremation ground.

MS Dhoni sequel not possible

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story made Sushant a household name in India. He portrayed India’s most decorated sportsperson in the 2016 blockbuster of Dhoni’s biopic. The cinema brought Sushant Singh Rajput and MS Dhoni very close as both of them spend a lot of time together.

It was wide reported that Sushant Singh Rajput is gearing up for a sequel of the movie. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni’s close friend and his manager Arun Pandey, who co-produced the blockbuster in 2016, has confirmed that without Sushant the second instalment of the movie is not possible.

“A sequel has been long crossing his mind and there were thinking of coming up with something at some point of time but given what happened today, everything is now meaningless,” ABP news quoted Pandey as saying. 

MS Dhoni in shock after hearing the news

The former India skipper has had developed a strong bond with the actor. They used to do long hours before the shoot where Sushant Singh Rajput used to ask all sorts of questions to pick MS Dhoni’s brain. Meanwhile, the devastating news has sent the legendary cricketer in a state of shock.

“Mahi is also very morose. Such a tragic incident. We can’t even believe what has happened. I am not in a position to express my grief,” Pandey told ABP Ananda.
