CSK captain MS Dhoni currently busy with IPL duties
The former India captain’s full commitment right now is towards the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he is captaining his franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They have had an awful campaign, losing the first six games and were bowed out of IPL 2022, losing to arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI).
Batting first, Chennai could only muster 97 runs after a horrendous show from the batters. MS Dhoni top-scored with an unbeaten 36, which included four boundaries and two sixes. Dwayne Bravo was the second-highest scored with 12 runs.
In reply, Mukesh Choudhary and Simarjeet Singh bowled exceptionally well with the new ball but youngsters Tilak Varma and Hrithik Shokeen stitched a crucial 48-run stand to seal the deal for the five-time IPL champions.
