Priyansh Arya Reflects on a Dazzling Century Against Csk

Priyansh Arya, the opening batsman for the Punjab Kings, expressed his joy following his spectacular century against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2025 Indian Premier League.
“It is a very good feeling because my name is also being included in all the legends. I am feeling very good; I am feeling out of the world. Obviously, scoring a run is one thing and scoring a hundred is another thing; that is why I am feeling very good. I had this in my mind that whoever is in my range, I will definitely hit the shots. I will back myself, even if wickets are falling; even then, I will back myself” Priyansh Arya said.
Priyansh Arya becomes the eighth player in tournament history to score a century without having played a game. He joins the ranks of Shaun Marsh, Manish Pandey, Paul Valthaty, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Prabhsimran Singh in the distinction.
Punjab Kings took their third win of IPL 2025 by 18 runs beating CSK on Tuesday and this time Priyansh Arya was the difference in the end.
