Punjab Kings and West Indies’ fearless frontline batsman Nicholas Pooran tied the knot on Tuesday with his fiancee, Alyssa Miguel. The couple, who got engaged back in November 2020 after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League held in UAE, took to Twitter to share the news with their followers.

Pooran captioned the picture saying, “Jesus has blessed me with many things in this life. None greater than having you in my life @kathrina_miguel. Welcoming Mr. and Mrs. Pooran”.

Alyssa in return expressed her love for Nicholas Pooran on Instagram and wrote, “Ordained by Jesus Christ. Beyond blessed to marry the love of my life @nicholaspooran.”

The Punjab Kings franchise was one among many others who congratulated the couple on the occasion.
PBKS wished the couple on Twitter and wrote, “Many congratulations on the start of this beautiful partnership. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness @nicholas_47.”

Wishes poured in from the nooks and corners of the cricket community. A long list of celebrities started commenting on the post and congratulating Nicholas Pooran and his wife. This includes West Indies’ Fabian Allen and Chris Gayle, New Zealand’s Jimmy Neesham, David Warner of Australia, England’s Chris Jordan, PBKS teammates Mandeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, and athlete Yohan Blake.

She had responded with a post of her own and wrote, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Ecclesiastes 3:11. Being loved by you is a blessing I thank God everyday for. Love you @nicholaspooran.”

Nicholas Pooran recently played for Punjab Kings in the 2021 IPL but failed to perform. The southpaw was moved around in the middle order and he failed to perform. The southpaw will be next seen in action during CPL 2021 representing Guyana Amazon Warriors.
