Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane is all set to become a father for the second time. His wife Radhika Rahane shared a picture of the family on her social media profile sharing the joyous news with the fans. She hinted that the second child is due in October this year. The couple received warm wishes from friends and fans on social media.

Ajinkya Rahane and Radhika got married in September 2014. They became parents for the first time when Radhika gave birth to their daughter Aarya in October 2019. Taking to Instagram on Friday, the couple shared the news of their second child with their fans. Radhika posted a picture of the family with Ajinkya standing behind them and their daughter, Aarya having an adorable moment with her mother. She captioned it, October 2022 šŸ‘¶ā¤ļø”.

Following the announcement, the comments section was flooded with wishes for the couple and their family. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh, who is also Radhika’s good friend wrote, “Cannotttt waitttttt!!! Don don.”Ā Sanjana Ganesan, Prithi Narayanan, and others have also shared wishes for the couple.

Ajinkya Rahane recovers from injury

Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane has recovered from his injury and has begun his training. He sustained a hamstring injury during the Indian Premier League 2022 season. The injury took place when Ajinkya was at the crease for the Kolkata Knight Riders in their second last league game. He was ruled out for the remainder of the tournament.

Recently, Ajinkya Rahane thanked the National Cricket Academy doctors and trainers for helping him to recover from the injury. He shared a picture on his Instagram thanking them. The right-handed batter had also shared an image of his before his training session on his Instagram stories, captioning it as “Back to the grind.”

The former Indian vice-captain has been out of the Indian team since the Sri Lanka tests earlier this year. He will be keen to put up a strong performance in the domestic season this year, which begins in September with the Duleep Trophy.
