Pakistan Is The Best Team At The Moment That Can Beat India at Home- Brad Hogg

Indian cricket team have almost been invincibles at home against every opposition. The Virat Kohli-led team India has not lost even a single Test series at home. The last time India lost a Test series at home was against England in 2012. Australia came close in 2017 but ultimately lost the series 2-1.

Former Australia spinner Brad Hogg believes that if any team that has the best chance to beat India at home are Pakistan. Hogg rates the current bowling attack of Pakistan very highly and thinks that they can perform well in Indian conditions. The two arch-rivals last played a Test series way back in 2007 which India won 1-0.

Since then the two nations have not played a full-fledged bilateral series against each other. In 2012 Pakistan toured India again to play two T20Is and three ODIs but did not play a Test match.

“Well, I think the best team at the moment would be Pakistan because they have got a very strong pace unit and have got some good spinners. They also got depth in their batting and know the Indian conditions quite well”, said Brad Hogg on his YouTube Channel.

India and Pakistan last played a Test series in 2007.

Brad Hogg also thinks that due to the tension between the two countries it would be difficult for Pakistan to tour India again. He then picked the Australian team that can win a series in India soon. Hogg thinks that Australia has all bases covered and if the players play to their potential they can taste success in India.

“But they (Pakistan) can’t go over there for government reasons, so the next best team is Australia and I am not being biased. We have got the likes of David Warner, Marnus Labuschagne, and Steve Smith.

We have got a very potent batting line-up as well as a bowling line-up. I think if there is any chance of us beating India on Indian soil right now, it’s going to be over the next couple of years”, said the former cricketer.
