Prasidh Krishna has been selected in India’s squad for the 3 match ODI series against England. The talented fast bowler after impressive performances in the IPL playing for KKR and domestic cricket has earned his maiden India call-up. The 25-year-old from Karnataka has played 48 List A games in which he has scalped 81 wickets at an average of 23.07. Also, Prasidh Krishna has played 40 T20 matches thus far and has picked 33 wickets at 35.84 and an economy rate of 8.49.
Prasidh Krishna during the 2019 IPL season had even impressed the Indian captain Virat Kohli with his skills. Kohli back then had hinted that he ‘could possibly be an X-factor’ for team India going ahead in white-ball cricket. Now finally Prasidh Krishna has realised his dream and will be donning the blue of India in the ODI series against England.
