Harishankar Reddy bowled a short of a good length delivery which the MS Dhoni completely missed judged

Former India captain MS Dhoni is all set to make a comeback to professional cricket during IPL 2021 after a disastrous 2020 season. To avoid a situation like the 2020 season, Dhoni has started preparing for the cash-rich league weeks before the event takes place.

This season, none of the sides will be playing at their home venues to rule out the home advantage for every side this season. Chennai Super Kings will be playing all of their matches at Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata with them kickstarting their campaign on 10th April 2021 against the Delhi Capitals in Mumbai.

Last season Chennai Super Kings for the first time in IPL History failed to qualify for the playoffs as they finished 7th in the points table with just 6 wins under their belt.

Harishankar Reddy’ Uproots MS Dhoni’s Stumps At Chepauk

During the IPL 2021 auction, Chennai Super Kings made some interesting picks in the form of Moeen Ali, Krishnappa Gowtham among which they had also picked young pacer Harishankar Reddy for the base price of INR 20 lakhs. The pacer plays for Andhra Pradesh in domestic competitions and is considered to be a young sensation coming up the ranks.

Harishankar Reddy who has a skiddy bowling action with a considerable amount of pace in his armoury was seen uprooting MS Dhoni’s stumps during one of the practice sessions at Chepauk. Reddy bowled a short of a good length delivery which the former India captain completely missed judged ended up getting cleaned bowled during the center wicket practice.
