The next rising star of Indian cricket, Prithvi Shaw has bagged the MRF sponsorship deal. He has been named as the Under 19 Cricket for World Cup 2018 which will be held from 13th January to 3rd February in New Zealand. When he comes to face in the first match of Under 19 World Cup 2018, Shaw will have MRF logo to his bat which is a big moment for the young Indian cricketer.

It is a big achievement for the 18-year-old young sensation made his first-class debut for Mumbai in last year’s Ranji Trophy against Tamil Nadu. Since then he has scored 5 centuries so far from 8 games. In this year’s Ranji Trophy season for Mumbai, Shaw was the top scorer with 537 runs in 6 matches with the best score of 123. Shaw also became the youngest to score a Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy hundred.

In 2013, Shaw broke the world record of scoring 546 in 330 balls during an inter-school match. The match was played in a Harris Shield match.

He has joined with many cricketers who have signed the deal with MRF. Current Indian captain Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Shikhar Dhawan, AB de Villiers, Brian Lara and Steve Waugh are other cricketers being connected with MRF.
