Rahul Dravid, a former coach from India, is prepared to engage in the talk on whether or not cricket will become an Olympic sport. The transient event called “Cricket at the Olympics: A New Era” will be taking place in Los Angeles, where the sport will be honoured for being adopted to be part of the Olympics by 2028.
An exclusive conference entitled “Cricket at the Olympics: Dawn of a New Era” will be organised at the inaugural India House during the Paris Olympics to celebrate international cricket’s entry into the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
This event is hosted by Dreams Sports and it is going to take place at India House in Parc de Lavillette on July 28 evening. The Indian Olympic Association and the Reliance Foundation collaborated to create the concept for India Home, which is the first-ever country house during the Olympics in our nation.
Rahul Dravid and Geoff Allardice debate cricket’s involvement at the LA Olympics:
Rahul Dravid and International Cricket Council Chief Executive Officer Geoff Allardice will lead a panel discussion featuring Dream Sports co-founder cum CEO Harsh Jain and one of the most respectable and lovable cricketers.
Geoff Allardice, CEO of the International Cricket Council, said, “We continue to focus on the development of cricket across the world, bringing in more fans to the game, creating opportunities for players to compete at the highest level and now taking cricket to the Olympic stakeholders. The inclusion of cricket in the Olympics marks an important step and we look forward to Paris 2024, as an added impetus to the journey.”
