In a crucial encounter at the Wankhede Stadium, Rajasthan Royals secured their position in the Indian Premier League playoffs. Rajasthan Royals registered a decisive 30-run victory over Mumbai Indians in match 69 of the tournament. With this result, the visitors concluded the league stage with 16 points, setting up an Eliminator clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to field first. Rajasthan Royals capitalized on the opportunity to build a substantial total, finishing their 20th over at 205 for the loss of 8 wickets. The opening partnership initiated by Yashasvi Jaiswal provided immediate momentum, as he scored an aggressive 27 runs off 17 deliveries.

Despite regular breakthroughs by the Mumbai bowling attack, Rajasthan maintained a high scoring rate.
