The Pakistan legend Ramiz Raza who works as a full-time commentator now questioned Dhoni’s Grade A contract given by the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI). He feels that the highest pay grade should only be given to test players.
Ramiz Raza said that A Grade contracts should be given to Test players only in order to protect the longer format of the game.
He was quoted by the Indian Express, “You have to acknowledge and respect the status of Test match cricket and it has to come from the cricket boards, in Asia specifically,”
While explaining his stance he further added, “For example, MS Dhoni retired from Test cricket yet got the A-grade contract from the BCCI, Shahid Afridi retired from Test cricket yet got the A-grade contract from PCB,”
However, this didn’t go down well with the MS Dhoni fans who brutally trolled the Pakistan batsman on twitter for his remarks.
There should two-month window only for Test matches to increase the acceptance of Test cricket among the people in the time of T-20 cricket, Raza suggested. He has also requested International Cricket Council for the same.

@iramizraja why you interfer in @BCCI grade contract ? @msdhoni is legend in India. He deserves A grade contract.

maybe @iramizraja is right, @msdhoni does not deserve grade A contract, instead @BCCI should add some new category like A+ and give to dhoni
