Vidarbha is on the verge of creating history against Karnataka at the end of day 4. Starting on 195 for 4, Kartnakta picked 3 early wickets. Sarwate played a crucial knock of 55 which helped Vidarbha get a competitive lead of 197. In their second innings, Karnataka lost 3 wickets for 40 runs. C Gautam and Karun Nair added 41 runs for the 4th wicket. In the final session, Gurbani bowled a brilliant spell, taking 4 wickets.

At the end of day 4, Karnataka ended on 111 for 7 with 87 runs required and 3 wickets more left. It promises to be an exciting last day with Vinay Kumar and Shreyas Gopal at the crease.
