Ravi Shastri Confirms India’s Opening Combination For The Christchurch Test

Team India's head coach Ravi Shastri has confirmed the opening combination for the second Test against New Zealand starting from February 29 (Saturday) at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. Virat Kohli & Co will look to end the series on level terms after a ten-wicket drubbing at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.

Indian batters struggled to get going in the first Test getting all out for 165 runs in the first innings followed by 191 runs in the second essay. Mayank Agarwal was the only bright star in otherwise what was a poor effort from the batters in a long time. India are likely to make one change in the playing XI with Ravindra Jadeja slated to come in for Ravichandran Ashwin for the second Test in Christchurch.
