I Couldn’t Sleep After Dropping The Catch – Ravindra Jadeja
After the conclusion of the match, Jadeja revealed that he couldn’t sleep after he dropped a catch in the previous encounter. The gun Indian fielder dropped an easy catch of Marnus Labuschagne at long-off which shocked everyone. The missed opportunity was haunting Jadeja and he was eager to perform for his side in the last ODI.
“Absolutely, when I dropped the catch in the last match, I couldn’t sleep. The catch was coming in front of me as soon as I closed my eyes”, said Ravindra Jadeja.
“I had thought today (3rd ODI) that if there is a 50-50 situation, I will go for the catch because if I don’t go for the catch, then I feel I am not giving my 100%”, he added.
Meanwhile, Jadeja stayed true to his words and pulled off a splendid catch at deep square leg which he made it look easy. The Indian all-rounder dived in front and completed the catch at a crucial juncture of the match.
