Team India is known to get amazing crowd support in whichever country they play in. The men in blue fans even outnumber the host countries fans at every ground. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma recently revealed the only country where the Indian team doesn’t get any support. The dazzling opener was doing a live chat with Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal on Facebook.

Rohit Sharma praised and complimented Bangladesh for now becoming a force in international cricket. He also acknowledged the fact that both India and Bangladesh players are criticised when players do not play well. Rohit then went on to add that Bangladesh is the only place where team India doesn’t get any crowd support.

“India and Bangladesh have passionate cricket fans. When we make mistakes, we are criticised from all corners. I know it is similar in Bangladesh, I know how passionate fans can get in Bangladesh when we come to the ground to play, it is unbelievable. India is not used to playing without any crowd support, Bangladesh is the only place where we do not get any support”, Rohit told Tamim.

“I know the Bangladesh fans really get behind your team. This a totally different Bangladesh side now, you have a sense of eagerness in your side, everybody says that. We have seen that with your performance in the 2019 World Cup”, Rohit added.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has a remarkable record against Bangladesh in ICC events. When the two sides last met in England during the World Cup, Rohit scored a fine century. During the 2015 World Cup when Bangladesh played their first-ever quarter-final, Team India vice-captain scored his first World Cup hundred.

Since then, the two sides have met each other in exciting clashes. Whether it be the T20 World Cup match in 2016 or the tri-series final in Sri Lanka. The rivalry between the fans of both nations has also increased because of the popularity of the game in the two neighbouring countries.
