South African pacer Gerald Coetzee will miss the second and final Test against India, announced the Cricket South Africa on Saturday, December 30. He played the first Test which South Africa won by an innings and 32 runs at the SuperSport Park in Centurion earlier this week.
Gerald Coetzee developed pelvic inflammation during the first Test, which forced him to miss the second test, which is set to kick off on Wednesday, January 3 at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Cricket South Africa hasn’t named any replacement for Gerald Coetzee yet. There is also no timeline provided for his recovery.
“Fast bowler Gerald Coetzee will miss the second Betway Test against India after developing pelvic inflammation during the first Test at SuperSport Park,” wrote Cricket South Africa.
