The Indian team will face South Africa in the first match of the series to be played at SuperSport Park, Centurion from 26th December onwards. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, the Men in Blue would look to win their maiden Test series on South African soil after a gap of 31 years.

It promises to be an exciting series between these two powerhouses of Test cricket. The last time these two teams met for 3 3-match Test on South African soil, the Indian team won the first Test match at Centurion before losing the next two at Johannesburg and Cape Town to lose the series at 1-2.
Putting Runs On the Board Would Be Important
The Indian batters need to put in a decent amount of runs as the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shubman Gill show their class against top-quality pace bowling including Rabada, Ngidi, Coetzee and Marco Jansen.
If Indian batters can put on runs, the Indian bowlers will put enough pressure on the South African batting lineup and help them to win their maiden Test series victory.
