The Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has been inducted into the ICC hall of fame 2019 today. Sachin now becomes the sixth Indian to get this honour.

He will now be joining the like of Bishan Singh Bedi, Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble who already achieved this remarkable honour.

Sachin has been one of the greatest cricketers in all formats of the game amassing close to 34000 runs in all formats combined. He was the first cricketer to achieve a century of centuries marks also registering the first-ever 200* run mark in the ODI format of the game.

In an official video released by the ICC, a timeline of Sachin and his other towards glory was explained in an emotional way. Alongside Sachin, the Proteas bowler Allan Donald and Australian bowler Cathyrn Fitzpatrick has also been roped into the hall of fame 2019.

Sachin represented the gentleman”s game for a period of a quarter of a century. Though the master retired in 2013, the craze for him hasn”t reduced till then. Presently he is working as a mentor for his home side Mumbai Indians.

Not just as a mentor to the IPL side, Sachin has also established his academy in collaboration with Middlesex Cricket academy by the name TMGA.

It focuses on building future talents and the camps are currently happening across reveal parts of the World.
