Initially, Tendulkar had infused ₹5 crore into the company, which equated to acquiring 4.3 lakh shares at a unit price of ₹114.10 back in March 2023.
Fast forward to December 28, the scenario took a remarkable turn as Azad Engineering got listed on the stock exchange. Consequently, Tendulkar’s initial investment swelled to an impressive ₹31.55 crore due to the company’s valuation escalating substantially.
A detailed report by DNA highlighted that Azad Engineering experienced a remarkable growth trajectory, with its stocks escalating by 29.21 percent to reach ₹677.10 per share. This surge also propelled the Hyderabad-based company’s market capitalization beyond the ₹4000 crore mark.
Market activities were bustling, with transactions amounting to 1.51 crore and 7.80 lakh shares taking place on both the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange.
