Sachin”s noble gesture for these Bravehearts wins hearts :- In the last couple of years Cricket and Bollywood have amalgamated to form a captivating melange. The biopics of cricketers have become blockbusters. It all started from Azhar”s biopic in May 2016.
After Azhar’s biopic, all eyes were on much-anticipated “MS Dhoni:The Untold Story”. MSD’s biopic bowled over many other successful cinemas making it one of the most successful film in the history of Bollywood.
After Dhoni’s biopic it is time to get a close insight into Master Blaster’s life through his biopic ‘Sachin: A billion dreams’ releasing on 26th May. In the film directed by James Erskine, Tendulkar, his wife Anjali, son Arjun and daughter Sara play their own roles while Mayuresh Pem plays the role of Sachin Tendulkar’s brother, Nitin.

The film also consists of In brief roles from star opener Virender Sehwag and former Indian captain MS Dhoni. Sachin Tendulkar had gone to London in May 2016 to promote the film. The film has Telugu, Tamil and Marathi dubs as well.
As the film is all set to be released on 26 May 2017, a special screening was done for Indian Armed Forces at Indian Air Force Auditorium, Subroto Park, New Delhi. Among the notable presentees at the event were Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa, Kamalpreet Dhanoa and Rawat. Sachin Tendulkar was joined by his wife Anjali as well.
Dhanoa was impressed with the film and quoted, “It was a wonderful film. Having joined Air Forces before Sachin Tendulkar started playing cricket, I have seen his whole career and it is very imnspiring!”
Sachin Tendulkar said the first viewing of the movie for Indian Armed Forces was something that was always in his mind, “When I finally agreed to the film after a lot of convincing from the producer, I was clear in my mind that the first viewing of the movie has to be for Indian Armed Forces. It was on this very same podium that I was made a Honorary Group Captain of Indian Air Force.”
