“Sahi Sawal Koi Nahi Puch Raha” – Rohit Sharma Makes Fun Of Journalist Ahead Of 1st Test vs SL

Team India captain Rohit Sharma was at his personal during a pre-match press conference ahead of the 1st Test against Sri Lanka. The first of the two-match series will kick off on March 4 (Friday) at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Speaking to the media, Rohit was indulged in a funny conversation with one of the reporters who asked him whether the match is going to be played on the outfield as he was not talking anything about the pitch.

Responding to the query, Rohit Sharma stated no one is asking him the right questions. He also said that it is only good for him if he is not being asked questions about the team combination. Rohit said:

“Sahi sawaal to koi puch hi nahi raha hai. Ye sahi sawaal hai jo abhi aap puch rahe ho. Crowd aa raha hai ki nahi, pitch kaisa hai, kya team combination hai. Ye to koi puch hi nahi raha hai, mere liye accha hai,” Rohit hilariously said. ( Nobody is asking correct questions. This question is correct which you are asking. Questions related to crowd, pitch, team combination nobody is asking. It is good for me actually.)

Meanwhile, the spotlight is one Virat Kohli‘s 100th Test match as they gear up for the Sri Lanka challenge. Rohit also spoke highly of Kohli’s journey, saying that it is not easy to play for a long period of time with the same consistency.

“It has been [an] absolutely brilliant journey for him. A long one. To go on and play 100 Tests, it has been a wonderful journey. He has done exceedingly well in this particular format. Changed so many things in the way the team is moving forward. It has been brilliant to watch that,” Rohit said.

“It has been one hell of a ride for him. It will continue to be in the years to come. We definitely want to make it a special one for him,” he added.
