Wife of former India skipper MS Dhoni, Sakshi Dhoni quashed all rumours of his husband’s retirement soon after #Dhoniretires started trending on social media platform Twitter. However, Sakshi deleted the tweet soon after it went viral on the social media platform.

Meanwhile, the retirement speculation of the former India skipper MS Dhoni has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. He has been on a sabbatical since India’s lost to New Zealand in the rain-marred semifinal of the ICC World Cup 2019 in England.

Sakshi Dhoni rubbishes claims on MS Dhoni’s future

MS Dhoni was mulling a return during the Indian Premier League (IPL) and had already started his training at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. However, with IPL postponed for an indefinite period due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, MS Dhoni’s comeback to international cricket looks gloomy. On top of it many believe, his international career is all but over.

Suddenly on May 27 (Wednesday), #Dhoniretires started trending on social media platform Twitter which had everyone in shock. Several users added fuel to the speculations while ardent Dhoni fans maintained that the trend was a mere rumour.

Finally, MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Dhoni had to come out in the open and rubbished all those claims. Sakshi looked furious as she didn’t hold herself back saying that the ongoing lockdown has made people mentally unstable.

“Its only rumours ! I understand Lockdown has made people mentally unstable ! #DhoniRetires .. Get a life ! (sic),” Sakshi Singh wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Sakshi Dhoni had to come out in publish and clear such claims. In September 2019 soon after India returned from the World Cup, Sakshi took to social media and rubbished rumours surrounding Dhoni’s future. However, all eyes will be gazing to known the future of the hottest property of Indian cricket in the last decade.
