The 21-year-old, who had joined Kings XI Punjab for Rs 7.2 crore for IPL 2019, was bought by the Super Kings (CSK) for Rs 5.55 crore for IPL 2020. He had impressed in his time first stint in India claiming a hat-trick against Delhi Capitals. He scored 95 runs and scalped 10 wickets in nine matches.

“Him and Kohli are probably the two biggest but all the Indians are massive superstars. Chennai is an older squad so there are quite a few legends who have made it in the game. Hopefully, they will be looking to give tips to the younger players. That’s something I’m really looking forward to,” Curran added.

Furthermore, Sam Curran also already confirmed his availability for IPL 2020 which might see a few overseas cricketers miss out due to travel restrictions if it takes place. BCCI is yet to take a final call on this and is taking small steps before taking the final call.
