Former Indian batsman Sanjay Manjrekar has got himself in the middle of yet another controversy including him and Ravindra Jadeja. The former Indian cricketer had called him a ‘bits & pieces’ cricketer in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia & New Zealand last year. He answered him back by scoring a brilliant 77 off 59 keeping India in the hunt for a win. Now he has opined on his selection in the Indian T20I squad which has been selected for the Australia series.
The BCCI announced the Indian Test, ODI and T20I squad for the series against Australia earlier this week. Jadeja has been included in all three squads. While he is a Test regular since the last few years, he made a comeback into the Indian ODI squad before the 2019 World Cup. His ability to bowl economical spells. his ability with the bat and his prowess in the field makes him one of the most complete cricketers going around. He is also in the top five all-rounders in all the formats as well.
