The wicket-keeper batsman from Kerala – Sanju Samson is one of the brightest young talents in the country. His shot-making ability makes him a regular feature in the Rajasthan Royals playing XI in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Samson had a stellar debut in 2013 when he almost took Rajasthan to the now-defunct Champions League T20 (CLT20) against Mumbai Indians. He played some gorgeous looking shots to impress one and sundry and since then he didn’t have to look back.

Although Sanju Samson represented Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals) for two seasons but then once again shifted his base to Rajasthan. He has been a star attraction since knocking runs consistently in the top-order. However, the youngster from Kerala is yet to make a mark in international cricket. His chances came in the recently concluded series against New Zealand but failed to grab them.
Samson will be desperate to grab the opportunities and cement his place in international cricket if any opportunity comes his way after the coronavirus pandemic ends. But a regular feature in the IPL, Sanju Samson has picked the toughest bowler he has played against.

“Sunil Narine (Kolkata Knight Riders). Though I have played well against him in the IPL, heâs a superb bowler,” Samson told Manorama Online.Â
The cricketer from West Indies has been a star attraction in the IPL and has played key roles for Kolkata Knight Riders’ title campaign twice. He has 122 wickets at 6.67 and eighth in the list of most wickets in the IPL history.
