Pakistan’s leggie Shadab Khan and former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed engaged in friendly banter on Twitter while talking over a workout video of the national team that was put up by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The PCB posted the video where all the members of the team are seen indulging in extensive gym sessions. They were seen doing weights, treadmills, strength exercises, etc. Captioning the post, PCB wrote, “Sweating it out in the gym are our boys as they gear up for Pak v SA Tests.”

In the same light, the young spinner Shadab Khan tried to tickle the former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed by tagging batsman Imamul Haq. He joked how Ahmed is running two kilometers here also as a part of his fitness regime.

Sarfaraz replied to the comment stating that he would like to run two km with South Africa’s ace batsman Faf du Plessis. He wrote, “Oh Bhai faf ke sath karna hai mene 2 km).”

Babar Azam Retuns As Pakistan Skipper For SA Tests
Meanwhile, Babar Azam returns as captain to lead the national team in the upcoming Test series against South Africa. They will be the first team to tour the country in the last 15 years. The Proteans have already reached Pakistan and are undergoing the mandatory quarantine period.
Babar Azam will take over as captain from Mohammad Rizwan and skipper Pakistan’s red-ball team for the first time in Karachi after a thumb fracture put him out of contention in New Zealand. He will look to hit the strides right from the start as Pakistan look to come back stronger from their defeat.
The first of the two-Test series begins on January 26 at the National Stadium in Karachi. The second Test at Rawalpindi will be followed by a three-match T20I series. Pakistan will hope to conduct the series smoothly to invite more international teams to play cricket in the country.
