In what has been termed as an absolutely meek surrender and an abject performance by the watching public, India has now lost the 2nd Test versus Southafrica in Centurion.
The difference between the two sides and the quality, was always apparent, with the bat, ball and in the field too. And yet, this performance from India have hurt a lot of their fan base out there.
Apart from the Indian captain Virat Kohli who scored an outstanding 153 in the first innings, no other Indian batsmen have to come to the party against what has been a top-class side with top class bowling attack.
Twitter as well hasn”t taken the defeat fine just as yet, everyone expressed their disappointment and brutally honest assessment of this Indian side over the social media network.
Experts from all corners and fans expressed the same with their tweets that went viral in a jiffy.
The IPL auction will take place in Bangalore on January 27 and 28. Just in time for us to forget the SA series. Who said the BCCI can't plan well? #SAvInd

It's been that kind of a series, India have been in the game 75 per cent of the Test, but the final score has looked like a rout. This innings far more disappointing than Cape Town

A much anticipated series and it ends in an easy win for South Africa. I thought this was India's best chance but how wrong that was!!

India has now lost all of their 7 series in Southafrica barring one which they drew in 2010-11 under MS Dhoni. India”s record in Southafrica is an abysmal 19 games, 10 losses, and just 2 wins.
India has now never won a series in Southafrica and Australia. Well, no other Asian side has too but a lot more is expected of Indian Cricket given its current status and riches financially.
India didn”t play any warm-up game before the first test. And only arrived at the Island Nation a week before the first ball was bowled in Cape Town.
And the results are there for everyone to see, India”s bowlers have not bowled consistently well for longer periods of time and the batsmen have been found out against a World Class bowling attack on tough pitches.
This result won”t go down well with Indian Cricket fans and followers for a long time and Twitter reactions are a mere reflection of it.

When India loses like this overseas, we criticise the team. This is not a team issue, it’s a long standing Indian cricket issue, that we have failed to resolve. #INDvSA

I’m sure the defeat today will be analysed by the experts and reflected upon by the players. However, as a die-hard supporter of our team, here’s wishing them strength & a deep resolve to make the third test count. Come on India! #INDvSA

So these two brothers here, Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada took 9 of the 10 wickets against India, the number one team in test cricket in the world. I dare you. There's more where these fellows came from. #ProudlyRSA pic.twitter.com/uJWQnw2jpc

I have always rallied around the boys during difficult times, but this time around I'm hurt and angered by the kind of cricket they have played. No fight at all, no application. Abject surrender. This is what happens when you invite SL-hammer, humiliate them. Poor Cricket #SAvIND

Test cricket gives you an opportunity to showcase your true character and comeback. Its a challenging task for India and I am sure they will exhibit lot of self belief & fight.Have small targets in mind and try to achieve it. My best wishes #SAvIND
