The BCCI today announced the ODI squad for the South African tour. There were not a lot of surprises, Mohammed Shami has been included once again but there is one surprise omission of KL Rahul who has been in great batting form lately against Sri Lanka.
Kedar Jadhav who was injured is fully recovered and back in the team, Young Fast bowler Shardul Thakur has also been picked for the tourney.

The 17-member squad though still doesn”t include the twin spinners Ashwin and Jadeja, India seemingly have made their choice in limited overs cricket and are hell-bent on sticking with that.
Twitter was surprised on the exclusion of KL Rahul as well as questioned the move of including DK and Kedar Jadhav while ignoring Raina, here are the reactions:
