Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been the face of humanity in Pakistan constantly helping the poor people in his country in the wake of the pandemic coronavirus. However, there were reports that the minority sections were neglected in the country and Afridi set an example by helping the needy people of the minority community.
Pakistan have also been suffering badly in these testing time with no proper facilities available to test the patients. Amid such a grave situation, Shahid Afridi has been busy helping the poor in his country suffering amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the founder of the Shahid Afridi Foundation, the 40-year-old has been donating food, disinfectant soap, masks and other amenities to the needy in Pakistan. The legendary all-rounder has been continuing this noble act since the past 10 days. On March 31, Afridi reached out to the minority communities in the country to help them with the necessities.
Notably, there has been news going around that minorities especially the Hindus in Pakistan have been neglected by the ruling party. But Shahid Afridi once again showed his kind and humanitarian nature by coming out in support of them.

Meanwhile, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and veteran off-spinner Harbhajan have appealed to the citizens to unite in these grave times and help Shahid Afridi Foundation. The duo posted a video on their Twitter handle to raise awareness on the same. Although they received a severe backlash from the fans, by they showed the courage to spread what is needed at this hour considering that more than 1000 people are dying each day across the globe.
