India batter Shreyas Iyer is set to feature for Mumbai in their second match of the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy season. He has been added to the Mumbai squad for the match against Andhra Pradesh which kicks off on January 12 at the MCA Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy Ground, Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
Shreyas Iyer missed out on India’s squad for the Afghanistan T20I series. He also did not make it to India’s playing XI in the recent T20I series in South Africa. The right-handed batter struggled during the Test series, scoring 41 runs in two matches. He will be keen to find form in the Ranji Trophy match against Andhra Pradesh before the home Test series against England kicks off.
