After a lopsided test series, Sri Lankan lions were expected to put a little more fight in the ODI series but that fight only lasted for first 25 overs of their innings as they collapsed and lost wickets in heap throwing away a solid start and setting a meager total 217 to chase for the Indian side.
India after a dramatic run out of Rohit Sharma made a light work of the target thanks to some demolition work by Dhawan and Virat Kohli. The pair completely annihilated the Lankan bowling attack, Shikhar Dhawan in particular toyed with the bowlers and completed his 3rd ton of the series.
Twitterattis were at their brutal best as the mocked Sri Lanka”s abysmal show and praised Dhawan for his century. Here is all the best action fron the social media platform:
#Dhawan has made one of the strongest comebacks in international cricket. Never easy. His trollers – Plz stand up and applaud #SLvIND

When in good form, make the most of it! 11th 100 for Shikhar Dhawan #INDvSL. Off a good Test series following it with a 100 in ODI @BCCI

Sri Lanka blown away by India's might & professionalism. Good thing for India is that every new player is delivering. #BenchStrength #SLvIND

You can see why Kohli wants Dhawan in his side. In this form, it seems only Dhawan can get himself out.

What's the point in playing a weak & struggling Sri Lanka side? Rather what's the point of this series? #OneSidedAffair #SLvIND

Form Dhawan is in, Meenakshi Aunty of Wildstone fame would have left the uncle, bitch slapped her daughter and proposed Dhawan already.
