Smriti Mandhana Reveals Fun Secrets About India Teammates

The Indian Women’s team is currently enjoying their time off after the conclusion of the one-off test match played between India and England, in Bristol. The Indian opener, Smriti Mandhana in a recent interview with Espncricinfo, spilled beans on her life and revealed secrets about her teammates.

Mandhana was asked about one cricket record that would want to hold at the end of her career, she promptly replied,

Winning the most number of World Cups, hopefully.

Smriti Mandhana has over 2000 runs in One Day Internationals, at a fantastic average of 43.08. The only concern has been her conversion rate from the fifties to hundreds. She has scored 17 fifty-plus scores in her career till now but has only been able to score 4 centuries.

When asked, about which innings would she like to redo, she replied, “Many”.

I’ve got out for 70s and 80s so many times in my career. I wish I could go back and convert those into hundreds.”

The Indian opener also spilled beans on her teammates and revealed that Harmanpreet Kaur, who is very close to her, is the messiest player in the Indian team.

“I’d say me. If I take anyone else’s name, people are going to get back at me. But I think Harman and I have a good competition at this. But both of us have gotten better. We have also spoken about keeping our rooms clean”
