South Africa named squads for the 3-match T20I series, 3-match ODI series, and 2-match Test series starting from 10th December onwards. Aiden Markram will lead the T20I and ODI squads as Kagiso Rabada and Bavuma have been rested from the white ball series.
On the other hand, Temba Bavuma will lead the Test squad and a few youngsters will feature in the squad. These two matches would be a part of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
The T20I series will begin on the 10th of December, the second one on the 12th, and the final T20I match will be held on the 14th of December.

Matthew Breetezke, Ottinel Baartman, Nandre Burger, Aiden Markram (C), Gerlad Coetzee, Donovan Ferreria, Reeza Hendricks, Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klassen, David Miller, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Andile Phehlukawyo, Shamsi, Tristan Stubbs, Lizaad Williams.
After the 3 T20I match series, South Africa will face India in the 3-match ODI series. The first match would be played on 17th December, the second one on 19th December, and the final ODI would take on 21st December 2023.
ODI Squad to face India
Reeza Hendricks, Ottinel Baartman, Nandre Burger, Tony de Zorzi, Klassen, Mihali Mpongwana, David Miller, Aiden Markram (C), Wiaan Mulder, Andile Phehlukawyo, Shamsi, Rassie Van der Dussen, Kyle Veryenne, Lizaad Williams.
South Africa named Temba Bavuma as the captain of the 2-match Test series which is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. David Bedingham, Nandre Burger, and Stubbs have received their maiden Test calls for this series. They would begin their cycle with a tough 2-match Test series against the Indian side.
The first Test will be played on 26th December at Centurion while the 2nd one will be played on 3rd January 2024 at Cape Town.

It promises to be an exciting series as Suryakumar Yadav will lead the side in the T20I format while KL Rahul will lead the ODI squad. Rohit Sharma would return as captain for the Test series against South Africa.
