India and Ireland are facing each other in the first T20I match of the ongoing T20I series. The match is being played at Dublin in Ireland. Hardik Pandya was appointed the captain of the Indian team for this series because all the senior players of the Indian team are part of the test team in England.

Indian captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is famous for bowling tight line lengths in powerplay. He dismissed Ireland captain Andrew Balbirnie on the fifth ball of the match itself.

Usually the bowling speeds of Bhuvneshwar Kumar revolve around the range of 130 kmph. But the speed guns present in this match displayed a speed of 201 kmph on a delivery bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. This looked like a technical error made by speed guns.

It also displayed a speed of 208 kmph on another ball bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. It came as a huge surprise for fans when they saw it on television. Fans couldn’t believe how a delivery of 200 kmph can be bowled. Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave away 16 runs in his spell of 3 overs and picked up a wicket.

Hardik was delighted to captain the Indian team. Hardik Pandya said: ” Absolute honour to lead India. Any cricket who starts playing dreams of leading the country and I am very lucky to be leading my country. My role is simple. Just back them (the players) and ask them to play with freedom and express themselves.”
