The second ODI between India and Sri Lanka is set to take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday, July 20.
The Indian team will be high on confidence after a commendable performance in the first match. Skipper Shikhar Dhawan led the team from the front as he remained unbeaten at 86 to ensure a 1-0 lead for India. Debutant Ishan Kishan also scored a brilliant 59, but it was the opener Prithvi Shaw, who stole the limelight with a classy 43. Shaw was awarded the Player of the Match award.

The Sri Lankan team scored a decent 262 in the first innings. Most of their batsmen got off to good starts, but couldn’t score big. They will be hoping to change this around in the second ODI. Despite the loss in the first match, the Indians should not take Sri Lanka lightly.
With India ahead in the three-match ODI series, the second ODI will be a do-or-die game for the hosts. All in All, we are in for a cracker of a match on Tuesday, July 20.
