In a cricket-loving country like India, fans almost treat the players as gods and literally worship them. Thus, it is evident that they keep a close tab on each and everyone’s personal life and how they spend their time when they are not playing. And in the age of social media, nothing goes unnoticed as the followers get a glimpse of their favourite cricketer’s houses as well.

Although they reached the pinnacle of success; the journey has not been always smooth. And many cricketers had to face immense struggles to make their way to the top. Many had to overcome poverty and other hardships to reach where they are today.

Arguably the greatest batsman of this generation, Virat Kohli hails for a very humble Punjabi family. He has had his fair share of struggle on his way to the top but the talismanic run-scorer ensured he doesn’t let go off opportunities easily.

The India skipper now owns two luxury houses – one in the capital Delhi and other in Mumbai. A glance at the image of his old house will make him admire his hard work and dedication with which he has come this far.
