Like the millions of cricket fans, the legendary India footballer and the skipper of the Indian football team Sunil Chhetri is also eagerly waiting for the forthcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to begin. Notably, BCCI has postponed the tournament until April 15 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, which was scheduled to begin from March 29.

Chhetri is one of the most celebrated footballers in the country and has achieved a lot for his country. He is currently the captain of the Indian national football team and Bengaluru FC in the Indian Super League (ISL). One of the fans asked the Indian football captain about the Indian Premier League (IPL) team he would like to play for if given a chance. Without an iota of doubt, Chhetri picked the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore as the team he would like to represent. Kohli and Chhetri share a great bond and have often expressed their admiration for each other on social media.

Chhetri, who captains Bengaluru FC and stays in the city with his wife, said he was a Bengaluru boy, making it clear that Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be his obvious choice.
