Suresh Raina may have missed out on IPL 2020, but he is still contributing to Indian cricket off the field. The former India player has now endorsed ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MoU) with the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. Raina will now be aiming to produce future India stars from the union territory by developing necessary training facilities in J&K.
The cricketer confirmed the news on his official Twitter account as he goes on a path to help budding cricketers of J&K region. Even his former teammate and good friend Irfan Pathan lauded Raina’s efforts as he continues to do exceptional work for the society.

Suresh Raina Will Celebrate His 34th Birthday By Doing Humanitarian Work
In the last few years, Suresh Raina has been actively involved in social work and this association is in addition to a commitment taken by the cricketer. He is intending to build sanitation and drinking facilities at around 34 government schools across his hometown of Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, and the National Capital Region (NCR).
Meanwhile, Raina on Friday will celebrate his 34th birthday by performing various humanitarian activities in association with his NGO, named after his daughter Gracia Raina Foundation. This action of Raina’s NGO will be providing quality education facilities, clean drinking water and toilet facilities among various other things to a school in Ghaziabad.
“It brings me immense joy to celebrate my 34th birthday with this initiative. Every child deserves a quality education, this includes their right to have access to safe and clean drinking water and toilet facilities in schools. I hope we can contribute to this with Gracia Raina Foundation collaborating with Yuva Unstoppable,” Suresh Raina was quoted as saying by ‘The Hindu’
“It is truly humbling to see the upgraded facilities benefiting thousands of kids. This is an excellent start and we look forward to transforming many more schools in the future. There was no better way I could have celebrated my birthday, it was a truly heartwarming experience.” he added.
