The Men in Blue were last seen in action on February 12, when they registered a commanding 93-run win over Namibia national cricket team after putting up 209 runs in their second T20 World Cup 2026 match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
India are now set to take on arch-rivals Pakistan national cricket team on Sunday, February 15, at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Ahead of the high-voltage clash, Neha shared an Instagram post featuring herself with Suryakumar and added a caption to the picture.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav’s team currently leads Group A with four points from two games, while the Men in Green are placed second with an equal number of points but an inferior net run rate. In T20 World Cup meetings between the two rivals, the Men in Blue have dominated, winning seven of the eight clashes so far.

Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif said during a YouTube live session on Friday, February 13, that several Men in Blue players are playing in a World Cup for the first time, with Rinku Singh being one of them.
He observed that the left-hander has not appeared completely at ease so far, suggesting that the pressure of the tournament seems to be affecting him. He added:
“Many players are playing in the World Cup for the first time. For example, Rinku Singh has not looked fully in his flow yet. There is always World Cup pressure. Rinku usually does not get out the way he did, trying to hit and getting caught at long-off.”
“Whether in UP matches, Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, IPL, or even bilateral matches for India, he has always performed well. So, perhaps the World Cup pressure is showing a bit.”
