T20 World Cup 2021: Aakash Chopra Predicts The Winner Of India-Australia Warm-Up Game

After a convincing win against England in the first warm-up game, Team India will play Australia in their final practice game leading up to the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Ahead of the game, former cricketer Aakash Chopra has made his predictions and lauded both sides pace attacks.

Highlighting that both sides have bowlers who can bowl lethal toe-crushers, Aakash Chopra predicted that one batter will be found wanting against the yorker. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra said:

“One batter, I feel, will be dismissed by a yorker. Either it will be Mitchell Starc’s yorker or Shami’s or Bumrah’s. It can be Pat Cummins as well, I mean there is too much quality when you talk about the fast bowling on both sides.”

Aakash Chopra further stressed that the fast bowlers will return with more wickets than the spinners.

“I feel fast bowlers can pick more wickets than spinners in this encounter. Although it is an afternoon game and there might be slightly more help for the spinners but still I feel that fast bowlers will take more wickets,” Aakash Chopra added.

Australia might win this match – Aakash Chopra

The 44-year-old conceded that Australia, who thumped New Zealand in a thrilling contest in their last warm-up game, will continue their winning momentum against India.

“Although this thing does not have any value but I feel Australia might win this match. Whether you win or lose in a warm-up encounter, it doesn’t matter,” Aakash Chopra concluded.

India will be keen to explore more of Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya and their role in the batting unit leading up to the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
