Virat Kohli has been an inspiring personality on and off the field as well. While he is known for his passion and aggression on the field, his attempts to educate the youth on fitness and its related benefits has really had a significant impact on the youngsters now. Not just his fans even several sportsmen have been looking at him as an icon and this is definitely a proud moment for the 30-year old.

Virat Kohli landed on Australia a couple of days ago with his mates for the all-format tour against Australia. Tim Cahill, the football player met Kohli and shared a picture of their visit. It is to be noted that Cahill has been one of the greatest admirers of the Indian batsman.

A few days ago Cahill said that he likes Sachin Tendulkar a lot in his times but always looks up to Virat Kohli as a source of inspiration. Speaking on the same, he further added “I love cricket. My all-time favourite is Sachin Tendulkar, without a shadow of a doubt. But now, it is obviously Virat Kohli because I love his background story of how he has achieved what he is today. He works hard, he is humble, he sacrificed a lot and is very committed. But I also like the way he tends to give back so much to the Indian people of the park, both emotionally and charitably. So I follow him on the social networks. He is a good example.”

Cahill represents Jamshedpur FC in the Indian Super League. He called his day in the International formats after the 2018 FIFA World Cup. He has been one of the most ardent followers of cricket and he couldn”t stop sharing his excitement after meeting Kohli.

Kohli”s men will face Australia in a three-match T20I series commencing November 21.
