Recently, Kohli invested in an insurance start-up named Digit. Furthermore, the talismanic run-scorer possesses an e-commerce fashion brand named ‘WROGN’.

Kohli’s brand value has gone up by 39 percent in 2020

Virat Kohli is the highest-paid cricketer in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His retainer fee from the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is a mind-boggling INR 17 crores apart from earning INR seven crores from BCCI as his annual salary.

Kohli also earns his significant chunk of money through brand endorsements deals. Some of the top brands that he advocates are the likes of Myntra, Uber, Audi, MRF, Manyavar, and Tissot. One8, a brand created in support with Puma, has already crossed the 100-crore revenue mark. He also owns two restaurants to his name.

As per the report released by Duff & Phelps, which is a multinational consultancy firm, Kohli’s brand value has gone up by 39 per cent as compared to the last year. In addition to all this, Virat Kohli is highly active on the social media platforms too. Having 51.4 million followers on Instagram, he promotes not only fashion and lifestyle products, but also sports and fitness brands. The Indian skipper charges INR 1.35 crores per post and INR 2.3 crores per Tweet.
