These three players added to World XI Squad for charity T20 game at Lord’s

Windies will be facing the World XI in a T20 match at Lords. This game will act as a fundraiser for the renovation of hurricane-affected stadiums in West Indies.

While, the Windies squad has been announced for the same, the playing XI for the other side, hasn”t been announced yet. Andre Russell was named in the squad who is making a comeback after two years

Only a few players are announced and it is being released in parts. Eoin Morgan will lead the side which includes the likes of Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi and Thisara Perera.

Reports suggest that Rashid Khan has expressed his interest in joining the squad. The 19-year-old mystery spinner has been receiving accolades from legends all over the world for his spells in several leagues across the world.

Bangladesh players Tamim Iqbal and Shakib AL Hasan are the recent additions to the squad. It will be interesting to see how Morgan will lead the side with these talents.

Shakib and Rashid are currently playing for the Sunrises Hyderabad side in the Indian Premier League and they are registering thrifty figures in their spells.

This match will be played on May 31 and Carlos Braithwaite will be leading the windies that include the likes of Chris Gayle and Evin Lewis.

With a heavy batting line up, Windies are favourites for the game and will be trying to register high scores to collect huge funds for the revamp activities for the stadiums at home.
