The 23-year old Sanju Samson made sure to reach the playoffs as he amassed the bowlers to nook and corner of the stadium. Particularly, his innings against Royal Challengers at Bengaluru saw him crossing his comfort zone by activating the beast within him.
Sanju Samson hit the 17.3 mark in the recently concluded test at Bangalore. It is to be noted that the benchmark to clear this test is 16.1. Earlier, his score of 15.6 gave an opportunity to Ishan Kishan who filled his shoes in the tour of England.

Prior to the England tour, coach Ravi Shastri said that Yo-Yo Test will be a predominant factor in making an entry to the side and changes couldn”t be made. Ambati Rayudu, who played his heart out in the IPL, missed the England tour on the grounds of Yo-yo test.
On the other hand, Mohammed Shami has also cleared the same thus ticking the boxes for his availability in the England series.

With the triseries against Australia and South Africa “A” squads not too far, Sanju Samson will be looking to make it to the playing XI.
The Australian “A” side brings a lot of international experience with them as Travis Head is all set to lead the side. It will be interesting if Sanju Samson can cement his spot in the side which in turn can make way to the senior squad.
