Chepauk Super Gillies will take on the Dindigul Dragons in qualifier two of the TNPL 2021 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on August 13, Friday. The Dindigul Dragons are coming on the back of a comprehensive victory against the Lyca Kovai Kings in the eliminator.
Skipper Hari Nishanth (59 off 44) and R Vivek (52* off 26) led them to a five-wicket victory. Earlier, batting first the Lyca Kovai Kings scored 143/6 in 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan scored a fifty, while Gurjapneet Singh took a three-wicket haul in the first innings.

On the other hand, the Chepauk Super Gillies lost their qualifier one match against the Ruby Trichy Warriors by five wickets. S Radhakrishnan scored a 54-ball 82, but the knock went in vain as they failed to defend 153 in the second innings. In the upcoming match, they will bank on their in-form batsman Sai Sudharsan and Manimaran Siddharth, who is their leading wicket-taker in the tournament so far.
