6. Venkatesh Prasad and Aamir Sohail
The quarterfinals of 1996 Cricket World saw a famous argument between Venkatesh Prasad of India and Aamir Sohail of Pakistan. Sohail was batting brilliantly and it seemed he will take Pakistan to a famous win. Then suddenly he got carried away after hitting a boundary of Prasad.
He immediately signalled Prasad to not only keep quiet but also to fetch the ball from the boundary rope. Prasad would have a reply of his own as he knocked Sohail’s off-stump out of the ground and showed him the way to the pavilion.
