Under 19 World Cup 2024: Teams, Venues, Groups, Schedule – All You Need To Know

The ICC announced the schedule for the Under 19 World Cup to be played in Sri Lanka next year. A total of 16 teams will take part in the prestigious tournament. The format of this edition of Under 19 has been changed from the previous edition.

A total of 4 teams with 4 groups in which the top 3 teams would qualify for the Super Six stage. Group stage matches will take place from 13^th to 21^st January 2024 while next round matches will take place from 23^rd to 28^th January. The semi-finals will be held on 30^th January and 1^st February. The finals will take place on 4^th February.

Group A comprises India, Bangladesh, Ireland, and the United States of America. England, South Africa, West Indies, and Scotland consist of Group B. Australia, host Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Namibia will feature in Group C. Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal will feature in Group D.

The Super Six stage will feature six teams with three teams combining A and D while the top three teams from Group B and C. Each team will play two Super Six matches from the other group depending upon the positions they finished.
