Former Pakistani women’s skipper Sana Mir is now the top-ranked bowlers in ODI rankings. Though the side didn’t perform up to the expectations in the ODI series against Australia, she gave her best adding seven wickets to her bag.

She became the first Pakistani cricketer from women’s side to top the charts in ICC rankings. The 32-year old thanked all the fans and other players for being the pillar of support throughout her career in achieving the milestone.

She shared her message through Twitter and it has been trending in the social media for some time now. However, she asked the board to provide better sporting facilities as there is a lot of talent in her country to represent at the international level.

In a TV show ‘Voice of cricket’, Sana revealed her admiration towards former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. She had no hesitation in admitting that she would like to be Dhoni or Imran Khan if given a chance for a day. Dhoni has been looked upon as an inspiring personality to many youngsters across the world and Mir is no exception.
